IDA FROM JULY 2018 WILL BE 128%

All India Consumer Price for Industrial Workers (AICPI) for May, 2018 is announced.It is 289 points. In April 2018 it was 288 points.So, there is an increase of 1 point.Based on this, the rate of IDA applicable from July 2018 can be calculated as 128%.

IDA Increase of 0.8% from 127.2% to 128%.

District Conference - Visakhapatnam on 24-06-2018

District Conference of Visakhapatnam is held on 24-06-2018 under the president-ship of Com M.Srimannarayana. Circle Secretary Com V.Vara Prasad has addressed the conference which is well attended. District Secretary VZM Com T S Prakasa Rao , Circle Office - bearers Comrades SVSN Murthy (Visakha), S.Ramprasad (Visakha), P.Manikyala Rao (Vizianagaram), M.Papa Rao (Srikakulam) have also attended and addressed. District Secreatary Com K.Somasundara Rao presented Secretary's report and Com P.Baburao presented Annual accounts which are duly adopted. Com M Sreemannarayana , K.Somasundara Rao, P.Babu Rao have been re-elected as President, Secretary & Treasurer respectively and Sri J.Ramachandra Rao CGM (Retd) being Chief Adviser. 

Demos on 20-06-2018 - Pension Revision

As per the call given by AIBSNLPWA (CHQ)_(CWC-Chennai) , the demonstrations took place on 20-06-2018 throughout the Circle in protest against the delay in settlement of Pension revision w.e.f 01-01-2017. Large number of members have participated in the demonstration inspite of hot weather demanding Pension revision as per 7Th CPC fitment formula w.e.f 01-01-2017. fitment formula.

Notice for All India conference at Puri to be held on 22nd and 23rd September 2018 has been issued. Notice for Pre-conference CWC on 21-09-2018 has also been issued. All the District Secretaries are requested to arrange for election of delegates/visitors and intimate to Reception Committee in advance. CHQ has decided that circles can bring 25% of eligible  delegates as visitors. 110 delegates at the rate of One delegate for fifty members and 28 visitors (25% of 110) can attend from  AP circle . No of Delegates and visitors to attend AIC is thus limited and to be strictly observed to avoid last minute inconveniences.
