General Body Meeting of Vishakapatnam District is held on 11-03-2017 in the premises of GM's Office. District president Sri Srimannarayana presided the meeting. District Secretary Sri K.Somasundara Rao presented his report and Treasurer read out accounts position. CEC members from Vishakapatnam District Sri SVSN Murty and Sri S.Ram Prasad have also spoken on the occassion.  Membership of the district has increased considerably with the constant efforts of district branch.  As many as 170 members have attended and 15 pensioners who have become eligible for full pension during this period have been felicitated. District Secretary Sri T.S.Prakasa Rao and the CEC member Sri P.Manikyala Rao from adjoining District of Vizianagaram have also addressed the meeting. Circle Secretary of Telangana Sri K.S.Koteswara Rao ,special invitee, informed the status of 78.2 % settlement and about the proceedings of meeting with Pricipal CCA and CCA at Hyderabad. Circle President Sri M.R.S.Prakasa Rao has addressed the gathering in detail. Circle Secretary Sri V.Vara Prasad informed about the meeting with CCA/Pr.CCA at Hyderabad along with C.S Telangana. He said that the settlement of 78.2 % has been found to be slow and an organisational programme has to be undertaken during the last week of this month as per the resolution adopted in the circle conference held during Jan 2017. He informed that the new bank account has been opened for Andhra Pradesh Circle and a new website has also been launched for the circle. Latest Developments on pension revision as per 7th CPC , CAT judement on anomaly case , fresh efforts of CHQ for another legal battle on still pending anomalies on pension have also been explained to members.
