VRS PENSION

There is no need for getting panic about mentioning VRS 2019 in PPO.  CCS (Pension) Rules 1972 provides for payment of Gratutity and commutation at the time of retirement. There is no provision for deferred payment for these two. We remember that DoT mentioned that the rules would be amended suitabily but that was not done. So Sampan was programmed accordingly.

All VRS retirees will get pension from Govt of India  on combined service as per Rule 37-A of CCS Pension rule, 1972. There need not be any fear on that. If required,  our CHQ will take up this matter at appropriate level .

Nandyal Branch Meeting

General Body Meeting of Nandyal branch. is held on 25-2-2020 . 

VRS retirees have attended and 17 VRS retirees have joined as life members. Com L Bala Krishna is re-elected as Branch Secretary.

Challapalli Branch Meeting

Challapalli branch meeting is held today(24-02-2020) . Com K.Narayana Rao Presided. CS V. Vara Prasad, Circle Treasurer S. Venkatappaiah, DS KKRN Poornachandra Rao attended and addressed .  Com G Lakshmaiah BS also spoke . All the 22 VRS retirees from this unit  have joined our association and attended this meeting. They are welcomed with a shawl and garland by the branch unit. 

Special meeting at Anantapur

A meeting is held on 23-2-2020 in our AIBSNLPWA Pensioner's Bhawan to welcome the VRS retirees . CHQ VP Com K. Nagamurthy, Circle OS Com GSN Prasad, DS Com Padmanabha Chari & SNEA ACS Com Rajasekhar Reddy have addressed. 30 Members joined as LIFE MEMBERS in our Association. . 

SPECIAL MEETING AT GUNTUR

A special meeting was organised by AIBSNL PWA Guntur district on 19-02-2020 at Kothapet exchange Guntur inviting all VRS-2019 retirees in Guntur Town under the presidentship of Com.Lakshminarayana. Com.Ch.Venkateswalu FNTO Circle Secretary, Com Sunkara Srinivasarao DS  AIBSNLEA, Com M.Peddarao District President AIBSNLEA , Com Ganta Nageswararao DS NFTE addressed the meeting and extended their full support to our Association and appealed all the members to join our Association. Com.K.S.Koteswararao Circle President explained about our Association achievements since formation, pension revision and BSNL MRS, CGHS Scheme and appealed all the members to join our Association. 150 members including our Association members attended the meeting and 45 members joined our Association on the spot and paid Life membership  and 30 members given their application to join our Association . 

General Body Meeting of Ananthapuram

The General Body Meeting of Ananthapuram is held on 08-02-2020. Com Adinarayana has presided. Comrades Venkata Narayana, Padmanabhachari, Nagamurthy, GSN Prasad have addressed. Com Viswanath is elected as Chief Advisor to our Association. Many of VRS retirees have also attended and joined as life members.

General Body Meeting of Krishna District is held on 08-02-2020. Large Number of VRS retirees also attended and joined our association as life members. Com VM Sarma presided. Com KKRN presented secretary's report. Circle President Com K.S.Koteswara rao, Circle Advisor Com MRS Prakasa Rao, Veteran Leaders Com B Kondaiah, Com M.Janardhana Rao, NFTE Circle Secretary Com Ch.Chandra Sekhar Rao, NFTE Krishna District Secretary  Com A.Nagendra Babu have addressed. 

General body meeting of Visakhapatnam

The General body meeting of Visakhapatnam District is held on 8-2-2020. More than 300 members , including 100+VRS retirees attended. Felicitations to super senior citizens of 75 years above are done.  VRS retirees joined in the meeting 42 as life members and also from Yellamanchili and Narsipatnam branches another 40 joined.

PROVISIONAL PENSION FOR VRS PENSIONERS

WE ARE GLAD TO SEE THAT OUR DEMAND FOR GRANTING PROVISIONAL PENSION TO ALL VRS OPTEES IS ACCEPTED BY DEPT OF TELECOM. WE RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM MANY CIRCLES THAT BSNL OFFICES FAILED TO SEND THE HARD COPIES OF PENSION PAPERS TO CCA OFFICES PROMPTLY. NO DOUBT, THE VOLUME OF WORK IS HUGE. WE, THEREFORE, ANTICIPATED SOME DELAY IN GETTING PENSION BY THE VRS OPTEES WHO WERE SENT OUT OF THE OFFICE WITHOUT PAYING THEIR WAGES FOR DECEMBER 2019 AND JANUARY 2020.HENCE WE TOOK UP THE MATTER WITH DOT. NOW, DOT HAS ISSUED ORDER TODAY APPROVING GRANT OF PROVISIONAL PENSION -- 50% OF THE LAST PAY DRAWN IN JANUARY 2020 - TILL REGULAR PPO IS ISSUED.

A new branch of AIBSNLPWA with 35 members is formed at Madanapalle, under Tirupathi SSA, AP on 4-2-2020 in the presence of Com. Soundara Rajan , DS of Tirupathi.
