There is no need for getting panic about mentioning VRS 2019 in PPO. CCS (Pension) Rules 1972 provides for payment of Gratutity and commutation at the time of retirement. There is no provision for deferred payment for these two. We remember that DoT mentioned that the rules would be amended suitabily but that was not done. So Sampan was programmed accordingly.
All VRS retirees will get pension from Govt of India on combined service as per Rule 37-A of CCS Pension rule, 1972. There need not be any fear on that. If required, our CHQ will take up this matter at appropriate level .
