DR to Central Govt Pensioners & Family Pensioners

Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare has issued orders releasing DR to Central Government Pensioners / Family Pensioners w.e.f     01-07-2021 - revising from 17% to 28% . 

Instalments due from 01-01-2020, 01-07-2020 & 01-01-2021 were frozen. It was frozen @17% for the period from 01-01-2020 to 30-06-2021.

Since the file was shuttling between DoT and DoE , we have filed contempt in contempt petition before PB, CAT, New Delhi No. 169/2021 and notice is issued to all the respondents.

Next date of hearing is 19/8/21.

Cabinet approves increase in Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief

The Cabinet has approved the increase of Dearness Allowance to the Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Pensioners with effect from 01-07-2021 to 28% representing an increase of 11 % over the existing rate of 17% of the Basic Pay/Pension.  

The increase of DA on 01-01-2020 @ 4%, 01-07-2020 @ 3% and 01-01-2021 @ 4% . 

The rate of DA /DR for the period 01-01-2020 to 30-06-2021 shall remain at 17%.

Revalidation of BSNL Medical Card & payment of medical cash allowance with /without voucher facility to Retired Employees-Corporate Office has decided to call for fresh options from the retirees to avail the medical cash allowance facility for the financial year 2020-21.  Fresh options to be submitted before 10-08-2021.
