As you are aware, the matter was listed before Mohd
Jamshed (Administrative Member) as Item 29 today.
When the matter was called out, our
Advocate appeared on our behalf. Counsel for the Respondents submitted
that the matter involved a policy issue and therefore should be heard by a
bench consisting of a judicial member as well.
Our Advocate did not object to this submission as
it will be in our interest to have a judicial member on the bench and also
informed the Administrative Member about the legal issue involved in the
matter.
The Member therefore directed the matter to be
placed for final hearing before a Division Bench on 6 - 9 - 2022.
